Short CV
Mengqiang Pang is PhD student of Prof. Jing Ba at Hohai University since 2019, and he will get his doctor degree in 2023. During 2022, he studied at Bochum University of Applied Sciences within the Reservoir Engineering and Rock Physics group of Erik H. Saenger.
Mengqiang’s research interests are about rock physics model, acoustic and electrical properties of rocks, reservoir prediction and digital rock physics. He has done some works in constructing rock physics models for reservoir applications using seismic wave attenuation, joint acoustic and electrical properties of rocks, etc. In addition, he has worked on combining digital rock physics and equivalent petrophysical models to study the rock properties of tight reservoirs.
